Nutella Marbled Banana Bread

Today was one of those days.

It was a bite-everyone's-heads-off-for-being-nice-to-you kind of day.

It was a soggy-foot-sloshing-jog-in-the-rain kind of day.

It was a cake-for-breakfast-lunch-and-dinner kind of day.

It was a brand-new-lamp-from-Ikea-shattering kind of day.

It was an eat-a-whole-jar-of-nutella kind of day.

I don't like this kind of day.

But don't worry. I have redeemed myself.

I made banana bread. Like, no-matter-what-else-happened-today-it's-now-instantly-all-better kind of banana bread.

I like that kind of banana bread.

Nutella Marbled Banana Bread

2 eggs
1/2  cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups mashed ripe bananas (4 bananas)
3/4 cup Nutella

Mix together eggs, sugars, oil, vanilla, and butter.
In a separate bowl mix the flour, salt, soda, powder, and cinnamon. Add to the egg mixture and mix just until combined.
Stir in the bananas.
Pour into a liberally buttered 10 inch loaf pan.
Slightly warm the Nutella (about 10 seconds at a time in the microwave until smooth). Drop it by tablespoons on top of the bread. Swirl with a knife.
Bake for about 60-65 minutes at 350ยบ.

And now, let your day be healed with the joy of Nutella.
